Terry Thompson graduated from the University of Arkansas and received his MBA from the University of Oklahoma City. After retiring as a colonel in the U.S. Air Force, he served nine years as a staff pastor in a large church. He later became the general manager of a nationally syndicated outdoor sports television program. A professor for John Brown University, he teaches in the Business Division Advance Program. He recently published a book, The Aviator’s Devotional, which has been very popular among aviation enthusiasts. In 2001, Terry lost his wife of 33 years to cancer after three years of agonizing battle with the disease. He has established a cancer research foundation in her name, the Connie Thompson Foundation. The dark-valley experience of living with cancer drove him to research the state of America’s cancer treatment and pursue a new treatment strategy.
